Doomsday has been released, and with young actor Wesley Holloway now confirmed to be part of the cast, the movie's story is starting to take shape.

Doomsday has confirmed another cast member for the upcoming film, with Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang set to return.

The Walt Disney Co. is closing out CinemaCon on Thursday in Las Vegas. The company dominated the box office in 2025 with nearly $2.5 billion in domestic ticket sales.

It showed the Fantastic Four meeting the other Avengers, Gambit fighting Shang-Chi, Mystique transforming into Florence Pugh’s Yelena and Dr. Doom blocking Thor’s axe with his hand. We also see the return of a bearded Chris Evans’ Captain America saying “Hey pal” before calling Mjolnir to him.

Avengers: Doomsday, releasing in December 2026, will include the return of a forgotten MCU hero who will play a key role in the story.
