A huge wave of Russian strikes overnight targeted Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, killing at least 17 people and injuring dozens of others, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that a Russian missile attack on a Kyiv apartment building the previous day killed 24 people, including what local officials said were three teenagers.
More than 1,500 Russian drones and dozens of missiles were launched in the last two days, according to Ukrainian officials.
