That approaching arctic air has triggered the NWS to issue an Extreme Cold Warning from 9 PM Thursday night through 11 AM Friday morning. Wind Chills could drop into the -40s with a slight chance for a few places mainly north of WIS-29 to drop to or slightly colder than -50°.
