The recalled platform beds were sold at major retailers, including Lucid, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Wayfair and Target.

The company that owns the beds said it has received 245 reports about the beds, with at least 18 injuries also reported.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a notice Thursday that 138,000 Lucid platform beds are being recalled in the U.S. and Canada because they can collapse while in use, leading to an increased risk of injury.

Lucid-branded platform beds with upholstered square tufted headboards because they might break or collapse during use. The recall applies to Twin, Full, Queen, King, and Cal-King-sized beds. The beds were sold in stores and online at Amazon.
