Thousands of Boeing workers are beginning the workweek with uncertainty about their job security after the company announced plans to cut 10% of its workforce.

Boeing plans to lay off about 10% of its workers in the coming months as it continues to lose money and tries to deal with a strike that is crippling production of the company’s best-selling airline planes.

Most analysts expect Boeing to raise up to $15 billion through a share issue. But the perception of major airlines to Boeing's financial risk remains a sensitive topic as many hav
