The top-seeded Broncos will host next weekend’s AFC Championship Game. They will play either the New England Patriots or the Houston Texans for a spot in this year’s Super Bowl. The Bills' season ends after a 12-5 regular season and a 1-1 stay in the postseason.
The playoff-savvy Buffalo Bills are on the road for the second straight week, and look to knock off the AFC’s top-seeded Denver Broncos in the Mile High City.
Denver won the AFC West and clinched the conference's No. 1 seed this season for the first time since 2015. Ten years ago, the Broncos won a pair of home playoff games on their way to a win in Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which is also the location of this year's Super Bowl.
The Broncos will host the winner of Sunday’s game between the Texans and Patriots. That game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET. The AFC Championship will kick off at approximately 3 p.m. ET next Sunday. The Texans beat the Steelers on the road in the Wild Card round, while the Patriots beat the Chargers at home.
Buffalo QB Josh Allen, who hadn’t turned the ball over in his previous six playoff appearances, threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles.
With Saturday's 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills, the Broncos have advanced to the AFC Championship Game. Denver will host the conference championship game on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. MT on CBS. The Broncos will play the winner of Sunday's Divisional Round matchup between the New England Patriots and Houston Texans.
