Bruins top defenseman Charlie McAvoy opened up about his recovery from facial surgery while traveling with Boston.

The Boston Bruins have been without their star defenseman for some time due to a facial injury and they could be getting him back in their lineup sooner rather than later.

Doctors told the defenseman solid food would be back on the menu six weeks after surgery, so that's about three weeks away.
