December’s well underway, which means the snowbirds are showing up in Orange Beach, Christmas parades are scheduled all over beginning this week, and Magic 96.5 has brought Mariah Carey back into our lives for another year.

The new Coaches Poll underscored just how fierce the debate is over whether Alabama or Texas belongs at No. 4 coming out of Championship Week. Both teams earned 1,351 points in the poll, tying for fourth after each won their conference championship games on Saturday.

The Michigan Wolverines, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide will compete in next month’s College Football Playoff, while the undefeated Florida State Seminoles were left out.
