Some parts of Southeast Texas have already seen up to 10 inches of rain on Thursday morning, prompting flash flood warnings.

Flash flooding in Jefferson County is causing road closures in Beaumont. The warning was issued at 8:43 a.m. Thursday and was expected to end at 1 p.m. Update 12:29 p.m.: The Fourth Street railroad underpass is now open and the 11th Street underpass is still closed due to flooding.

An estimated 4 inches of rain fell in Lee County, North Carolina, within about three hours Thursday afternoon.

At least four suspected tornadoes barreled through Oklahoma and Nebraska on Monday evening, according to a preliminary National Weather Service report.
