The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow across parts of the East of England. It covers Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, and is in place from 10:00 to 16:00 BST. Forecasters said rain moving eastwards through Sunday morning was likely to turn increasingly to sleet and snow.

The Met Office has issued a 19-hour yellow snow and ice warning for 11 areas of the UK on Monday and Tuesday.

Jonathan Day, flood duty manager at the Environment Agency, said more than 24,000 homes and business have been protected but about 330 have been flooded.
