Earlier on Friday, Israel said 200 fighter jets took part in strikes on more than 100 targets in Iran overnight in an escalation that threatens to spark a wider conflict in the Middle East. According to the IDF, an additional barrage of missiles was launched toward the State of Israel.

Iran will immediately hit Israel's economic and energy infrastructure if its own vital facilities are hit in future attacks, a Revolutionary Guards source told Iran 's Fars news agency on Friday.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said its armed forces will "bring Israel to its knees" after it has carried out dozens of airstrikes on the Islamic republic's nuclear and military facilities starting early Friday.
