Rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel sparking concern about whether the fragile ceasefire​ with the militant group would hold.

Israel struck Lebanon on Saturday in retaliation for rockets targeting Israel, killing two, including a child, in the heaviest exchange of fire since the ceasefire with the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

One person was killed and another injured in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon early Sunday, in the latest violation of a ceasefire agreement, the Health Ministry said. A statement by the ministry's emergency operations center said the attack targeted a car in the town of Yater in Bint Jbeil district.
