A former Western Washington University student just won big in the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Skier Breezy Johnson won Team USA’s gold medal of the 2026 Olympic Games on Sunday, Feb. 8, in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. It’s the first time a Team USA athlete has taken gold in the women’s downhill ski event since 2010.
