A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from once again detaining Kilmar Abrego Garcia, hours after the judge ordered him to be released from an immigration detention facility.
The decision came after U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth issued a preliminary injunction in September against the Trump administration's stop-work order for the nearly $6 billion Revolution Wind project—a joint effort by Danish energy company Orsted and partners BlackRock and Skyborn Renewables.
Trump had claimed in a day one executive order that wind energy projects needed more thorough reviews before approval, but the administration has yet to produce any meaningful updates or reasoning for cutting off consideration of land leases.
