The Inter Miami star is absent due to injury, forcing the world champions to rethink their system without Messi’s presence in the starting XI.

Messi has not played any competitive football since he hobbled off in the 66th minute of Argentina's 1-0 extra-time victory against Colombia. As a result, Messi has not featured for Inter Miami since scoring a goal in a 3-3 draw against St Louis City on June 2.

He stated that Messi has been training with the team, and they are hopeful of his readiness for the Philadelphia game. As reported earlier, Messi will not take part in Argentina's impending FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Chile and Colombia.
