Jerrid Powell has been charged with killing three homeless men and a Los Angeles County employee on four consecutive days last week. Joy Benedict reports from DTLA, where the serial killer appeared in court for the first time on Monday.

A week after a suspected serial killer went on a murderous rampage in Los Angeles, fatally shooting four men in a span of just four days, authorities are examining other unsolved slayings for fear the attacks weren’t the only ones.
