A massive Monday night fire has been contained to its original warehouse building in West Baltimore after drawing a response of about 200 firefighters, officials say.

Amtrak announced on social media around 10:30 p.m. Monday that all trains were stopped between Wilmington and Washington, which includes a stop in Baltimore. By Tuesday morning, Amtrak service had been restored but was restricted to one track, according to a spokesperson for the Baltimore City Fire Department.

A resident said that several years ago, when the city was under a different administration, there were plans to close the earliest-responding fire station to the warehouse fire.
