When Juan Soto steps up to the plate at Yankee Stadium, he isn't expecting to be greeted with much enthusiasm.

After Soto signed with the Mets, the Yankees pivoted and used part of the money to sign Max Fried and Paul Goldschmidt, and trade for Cody Bellinger. Fried has been arguably the best pitcher in the league this year and Goldschmidt has been a revelation at first base. Bellinger, after a slow start, has been very good the last 2-3 weeks.

Juan Soto has made his return to Yankee Stadium. The former New York Yankee and current New York Met ventured back to his former home for the first time Saturday for Game 1 of the team's Rivalry Weekend series against the Yankees.
