Ferndale schools are increasing security after a district student was killed outside the Michigan State Fair in what police described as a shooting stemming from an argument. Shots rang out Saturday from a parking lot southwest of the fair, sending visitors scrambling and killing the 14-year-old boy and wounding a second 14-year-old.
