A Nashville teen was arrested for making threats against Southwind High School, resulting in a districtwide lockdown.

This school year alone, there have been 25 reports concerning mass violence, 11 of which have resulted in felony charges, the sheriff's office said.

A felony warrant has been obtained against a 15-year-old in connection to threats made Wednesday against Southwind High School, Sheriff Floyd Bonner said. The teen lives in Nashville. Bonner said detectives in Nashville have the teen in custody and are traveling to Memphis to transfer him to juvenile custody.
