A Traverse City woman recently claimed a $1 million win through the Michigan Lottery Powerball, officials said. Kristina Love, 74, won in an Aug. 24 drawing from a ticket she bought at the Family Fare in Traverse City, according to a Michigan Lottery press release Wednesday.

The National Lottery Ithuba has urged the winner of the whopping R107 million Powerball jackpot to come forward and claim their prize. The winner walks away with R107,768,939.00 from the September 13 draw. Ithuba said the winning ticket was purchased through the FNB banking platform with a R90 wager, and the numbers were manually selected.

Kannuan's friend in Arkansas messaged her, telling her someone in Webster City won the $1 million prize in the Powerball drawing the previous night. Upon checking her ticket, which she had in her purse, she found that she won a drawing from Monday, Aug. 5.
