Young Thug’s Atlanta trial resumes Thursday, as an ailing prosecution witness remains in custody while being hospitalized for serious medical issues. Attorney Dennis Schieb said Quindarrious Zachary (aka D or Lil’ D) was moved to Grady Memorial Hospital after being arrested on a material witness warrant on Friday and incarcerated at the notorious Fulton County Jail.

The trial for Young Thug is now the longest in Georgia history. Jury selection alone took 10 months, and the trial itself began on Nov. 27, 2023. The previous record for the longest trial in Georgia was held by the Atlanta Public Schools cheating trial in 2014-15, involving teachers and administrators.
