A fresh round of overnight Russian strikes on Ukraine killed two people in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region and wounded at least 17 in the southern Odesa region, Ukrainian officials said on.

KYIV, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Russian forces ⁠attacked ⁠a petrol station in ⁠the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, for the ​first time, injuring four people, Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the ‌oil company Ukrnafta said ‌on Thursday.

Moscow’s attacks have targeted Ukraine’s power grid ahead of winter in what officials say is action to demoralise civilians.

Footage from the attack site shows firefighters battling flames engulfing cars and pools of blood from victims on the asphalt near the mall.
