The SEC is fining South Carolina for a violation of the league's access to competition area policy after Gamecocks fans stormed the field to celebrate an upset win against Texas A&M in Week 10.

The University of South Carolina will now have to pay a fine of $250,000 for a second offense under the SEC League’s policy. The SEC says fans cannot gain access to a competition area.
