A salmonella outbreak has been linked to eggs, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The outbreak has sickened 65 people across nine states, including California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. It has resulted in 24 hospitalizations.
