The Boeing Starliner that took Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to space recently made a safe return to Earth, but the NASA astronauts are not upset to have not made the trip.

The astronauts stuck in space say it was hard to see their Boeing capsule leave without them. Their public comments Friday from the International Space Station come after last week’s return of the Boeing Starliner capsule that took them to the orbiting lab in June.

Nineteen astronauts across three spacecraft are currently in orbit around Earth — a record in the history of human spaceflight. Two of them, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore of NASA, were not originally scheduled to be up there at this time.
