After Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyers submitted a petition to delay his sex trafficking trial, a judge denied the request, confirming jury selection will start May 5 and opening statements May 12.

Combs’ attorneys had asked U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian for a two-month adjournment to better prepare a defense.
