To qualify, the Republican National Committee requires candidates to have drawn donations from 80,000 individuals, including at least 200 donors from at least 20 different states. They also need to show having 6% support in two qualifying national polls or in a combination of one national poll and one poll from two different early states.

The fourth debate of the Republican presidential primary is Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern time — or 7 to 9 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where it will be held at the University of Alabama.

DeSantis and Haley are in a tussle for runners-up while Trump remains a favourite for the Republican nomination.
