Canyon Crest Fire initially started 8:04 p.m. Nov. 28 in Riverside, San Bernardino County. It has burned 284 acres after being active for 35 hours, an increase of 30 acres since the last update. A fire crew of 74 succeeded in containing 50% of the fire as of Saturday morning.
