School leaders at Westport Elementary School evacuated students after a small fire caused heavy smoke. The fire at the school, located at 415 S Golden Ave., happened around 9:30 a.m. Firefighters say the cause of the fire was a malfunctioning belt in the air conditioning unit above the library.
