President Joe Biden welcomed the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs to the White House Monday, offering effusive praise for players’ performance on and off the field.

The president joked that first lady Jill Biden, a “rabid” Philadelphia fan, is still not over the dramatic end to the game.

On Monday, the Chiefs came to Washington, D.C. to celebrate their Super Bowl triumph at the White House with President Joe Biden. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce presented Biden with a Chiefs jersey.

The Kansas City Chiefs have won two Super Bowls in the past three years and after defeating the San Fransisco 49ers in 2020, the American tradition of visiting the White House was put on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions as the whole world battled with the pandemic.
