The president-elect says the envoys will bring foreign business back to Hollywood but it's unclear what their roles will involve.

Incoming president Donald Trump wants to Make Hollywood Great Again and return it to another "Golden Age." The POTUS-elect has appointed Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as "Special Ambassadors" to Hollywood.

Mel Gibson said he was surprised to learn that he will serve as a special envoy for Hollywood to President-elect Donald Trump. On Thursday, Trump also said Sylvester Stallone and Jon Voight would serve in that position.
