Ahead of the much-anticipated September 10 Presidential debate on ABC News, a new poll has shown a significant cause for concern for the Democratic camp as it placed former President Donald Trump in a one-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris.

The poll, conducted by On Point/Red Eagle Politics/SoCal Strategies among 719 likely voters show 48% said they plan to vote for Harris compared to 45% who are backing Trump. Among those who watched the debate, 53% said they Harris won compared to 34% who thought Trump won.

About two-thirds of voters say Vice President Kamala Harris won the debate Tuesday night, according to a flash poll. CNN conducted an instant poll following Tuesday night's presidential debate that suggested Harris won the discussion, with 63 percent pointing toward her success.
