US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s international envoy, are set to meet Ukrainian officials in Paris at a summit Thursday aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defenses against Russia’s unrelenting invasion.

Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and top diplomat Marco Rubio will hold talks with European counterparts in Paris today to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine. The talks - which UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy will also attend - form the highest level of transatlantic engagement about the war since February.

Ukraine and the US will hold in-person negotiations. However, this will take place after documents that both sides can agree on are developed, stated Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Brusylov.
