A report by Optimove has found US consumer confidence in the economy and personal finances has risen from 26% in 2023 to 50% in 2024.

U.S. consumer confidence dropped by the most in three years in September amid mounting fears over the labor market, though more households planned to buy a home over the next six months.

Taiwan’s consumer confidence index (CCI) this month edged up 0.09 points from last month to 77.84, gaining for five months and hitting the highest level since March 2020, a survey conducted by the National Central University (NCU) showed on Friday.

The Conference Board, a business research group, said Tuesday that its consumer confidence index fell to 98.7 in September, from 105.6 in August. It was the biggest month-to-month decline since August of 2021.
